Eating Italian

Saturday night we went out as a family to dinner at Provinos. I had my camera in my purse from a birthday party that morning and so we were able to capture these silly moments.

Tomatoes

Calvin asked today if we could have tomatoes. We were at the grocery store so I said sure. We got to the produce section and I showed him the tomatoes. The response was: "Mom, I don't like that kind of tomato." So, thinking he wanted cherry tomatoes or grape tomatoes I asked - "What kind do you like?" The answer I got was classic - "I like the ones that are round and flat with cracks in them." Being his mother I knew right away what he meant and so proceeded to assure him that these were the right kind and that we would cut them at home and they would be round, flat, and have cracks :)

Thank You Pop!

Calvin and Isaac received "very cool flashlights" in the mail today. Calvin's exact words in fact. Strobing red lights - what more could little boys want :)

Snow Play

We got up this morning and went out to play in the beautiful snow. I almost hated to mess up the pristine white but of course we had to build a snowman. Here is our finished product. He has a dishtowel scarf, a carrot nose, Calvin's hat, and raisins for eyes and buttons.

My attempt at an artistic shot :) I thought the red berries
looked pretty peeking through the snow.

Let it Snow, Let it Snow, Let it Snow!

The snow began falling around 1:30 PM and has been going ever since. Everything is now covered in at least an inch of white. It looks so beautiful and peaceful. So glad we are home until Sunday morning.

Brothers

Isaac has always loved Calvin. Calvin is a source of entertainment anytime. Now Isaac is old enough to play with Calvin and share in some of the big boy fun. Isaac now looks up to Calvin and will let him help with toys or reaching something. Tonight, Calvin dressed Isaac in his diaper and pajamas with very little help from Mommy. Isaac was happy to let him do it and of course my little helper was so proud :)
