Pop

Calvin and Isaac enjoyed their time playing with Pop - these are some of my favorites... (1) Pop giving Isaac his bottle (2) Pop on the playground with Calvin (3) Pop "doctoring" Calvin. Pop even took his turn being the patient. (4) Isaac's first flying lesson.

A 3 year old's dream come true...

Breakfast OUTSIDE with Mia and a tractor for entertainment... the lot behind Mia and Pop's house was being mowed with a huge tractor right outside the porch windows.

Meeting Pop Dearmin

We spent this past week in Florida. On Friday we spent the day in St. Petersburg with Pop Dearmin. This was the first time that Pop was able to meet Isaac. Here are some priceless shots of our time there.

Calvin and Growing Up

Calvin is growing up in so many ways. Lately we have been walking at the park 3 times a week and spending a little time at the playground after our walk. Calvin likes to play on the big playground designed for 5 and up. At first I thought he would have trouble with getting up to the slides etc. but he is a pro. It is fun to see his progress each time we go back. Each day he seems to be able to do certain things a little bit better. Our little boy is growing up...

Happy Birthday Clint!

Calvin made Clint a card for his birthday. Here he is showing the card to Daddy. I bought Clint a cuban shirt that he has been eyeing for a while. Calvin and I enjoyed giving Clint his gifts and saying Happy Birthday this morning before Clint left for work. Tonight Clint and I went out to dinner and I tried sushi for the first time, let's just say I'm willing to try it again sometime...

Fun in the Sun, or just in the kitchen...

Calvin found these baby sunglasses in the beach bag and put them on Isaac. Isaac thought it was great that Calvin was playing with him. Isaac gave us this priceless smile. It was totally on accident that he was wearing a "Gone Fishing" shirt and sitting in a fish themed swing.

Rolling Over

Isaac learned to roll over yesterday! He rolled from his back to his tummy. I was cleaning up in the kitchen and he was laying on his playmat. I turned around and he had rolled partway off the mat. Isaac rolled over several more times last night and again this morning.

Ducky

This is a tiny duck robe with tiny ducky slippers. Mia and Aunt Tracy just had to have it for Calvin. Now Isaac can wear it. Look at that adorable face!

Childhood Prayers

Calvin said the blessing before dinner last night and I just had to share it...

Thank you God for the food, Mommy and Daddy, cars and grass. Amen.

Baby Bath

My Boys

I am so thankful that Calvin loves his brother. Calvin often requests that I take his picture with Isaac. Calvin loves to hold him and show him toys. It reminds me of the poem...

Sister

I am the sister of him and he is my brother.
He is too little for us to talk to each other.
So every morning I show him my doll and my book
But every morning he still is too little to look.

Panama City Vacation

Calvin had a ball playing with the truck that used to be Clint's. He ran around outside with this truck for hours during our visit.

We know better than to feed watermelon to an almost 3 year old inside the house... so Clint took Calvin outside on the deck and taught him how to spit seeds. Most of the seeds were spit out but instead of just the seeds, Calvin went off the bench too, trying to spit with his whole body :)
