Clint figured out that our regular camera would do short videos. Here is the first attempt at sharing some of them.

Cruise on Lake Geneva

This was our favorite outing. We thoroughly enjoyed our time on the water. Lake Geneva is beautiful and clear. We did not test the waters but I am sure they are very cold. The lake is fed by melting snow from the Alps and narrows into the Rhone River.

Geneva, Switzerland Day 1 and 2

Clint and I arrived in Geneva on July 4th at 2:00PM local time. The train from the airport stopped directly in front of our hotel after only a 6 minute ride. We were sleep deprived but managed to stay awake until 8 PM local time. Sunday morning we woke up so late that we missed breakfast and had to walk (very quickly, I might add) across the bridge to the old town. Worship was held in the beautiful cathedral of St. Pierre, the adopted home church of the reformer John Calvin in the mid- 1500's during his exile from France. John Calvin pastored the congregation of St. Pierre in Geneva and preached his sermons in the very room where we were worshiping. After church we went to Lake Geneva to enjoy the view.

Typical Days

Lately we have been hanging around the house for most of the day. Playing in the borrowed baby pool (thanks Sarah!), goofing off in the house, and ending the day playing LEGO Star Wars with Daddy. Isaac has even joined in the fun by holding a remote and pushing the keys while Clint and Calvin play.

PIcking Blackberries

Calvin and I went across to the road to the blackberry farm this afternoon. We spent about half an hour picking blackberries and came home with two quarts full of yummy fruit. I made blackberry cobbler for dessert.

Chairs

Calvin and Isaac in their chairs. Isaac received his new chair this week and has been sitting here every chance he gets.
